1. Midnight Cowboy: Criterion Collection [Blu-Ray] (1969)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While not the strongest Oscar-winner ever, Midnight Cowboy holds up better than many. Despite some inconsistencies, it becomes a reasonably involving tale of an unusual friendship. Starring Dustin Hoffman, Jon Voight. Criterion, $39.95, 5/29/2018.

7. Deliverance: Deluxe Edition (1972)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Overall, I prefer this DE to the 1999 DVD of Deliverance. It offers superior picture along with substantially upgraded extras. However, the audio takes a bit of a dip, so it’s not a slam-dunk. I still recommend it over the 1999 disc; I just don’t do so with great enthusiasm. Starring Jon Voight, Burt Reynolds. Warner, $19.97, 9/18/2007.

8. Superbabies: Baby Geniuses 2 (Family Edition) (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Cheap, cheesy, and thoroughly boring, Superbabies: Baby Geniuses 2 offers a sequel to a movie few saw and fewer liked. It’s not as aggressively annoying as the original, but it compensates with an even more nonsensical story and a genuinely unexciting tale. Starring Jon Voight, Scott Baio. Columbia TriStar, $24.96, 1/4/2005.
